A very pretty sauce tureen with lid and underplate. Pattern extends to the twin handles and inside the lid of the tureen. The lid has a sweet finial and the underplate completes this three piece set.
Dimensions: height to top of finial 12.5cm, length of tureen 18cm, width 11cm, lid to fit. Underplate; length 21cm, width 14.5cm. H W & Co, (Hancock, Whittingham & Co) earthernware pottery in North Staffordshire. Stamp of maker on underside of plate and tureen. Crazing of glaze in keeping with age.
