A large studio pottery stoneware bowl by Roger Stribley. Of natural brown and black tones, decorated internally with ribbed spiral design. Ceramicist Roger Stribley was born in England and educated at Royal College of Art in London. He moved to Sweden in 1972 and set up a studio in Kvidinge, outside Helsingborg. In 1974 he moved to Canada. This piece is mid-century, late 1960s/early 1970s.
Dimensions: height 12.5cm, diameter at rim 40cm. This piece shows some signs of age with wear to glaze, dating from the mid-century - stamped RS on base. See images which form detailed part of overall description. This piece has some weight.
