An Quimper earthenware bowl featuring 'le petit Breton'. This bowl is thought to have been made early in the 20th century. Quimper faience, produced in Brittany, reflects a traditional Breton influence featuring a man or woman in traditional costume. A lovely deep bowl with good weight. Perfect for cafe au lait, breakfast or to be part of a mixed set of bowls for the prettiest summer table setting.
Dimensions: height 9cm, diameter 15cm - width to tip of handles 23cm. Small areas of wear on rim and edge of handles, minor crazing consistent with age - please study photos as these form part of description.
