Antique English Majolica water lily hand painted plates. Lovely colour and form with wear consistent with age (late 1800s). In the style of Joseph Holdcraft who originally worked for Minton until 1860 when he opened his own shop in Longton, Staffs.
Dimensions: diameter 22cm, mottled paint on reverse with just the no. 7 stamped - no maker's mark. No chips. Crackling to glaze - One now sold, the remaining plate has one small hairline crack - see images which form part of description.
