1930s Burleigh Ware Art Deco Squirrel Jug. The design, colour, glaze and condition of this jug are truly exceptional. It is a delightful, hand painted, characterful piece featuring a red squirrel for the handle with a long busy tail. The tree has lots of lovely detail some of which are modelled in relief. The colour green continues from the rim inside the jug and fades to yellow. The maker's mark is on the base.
