
A highly collectible Glyn Colledge footed jug for Denby Pottery Company in green, blues and muted tones. 1960s Colledgeware (Bourne Denby studio), a really lovely example, with trailing leaves - a hallmark of Colledge's style and beading down the elegant handle.
Glyn Colledge (1922–2000) worked for the Denby Pottery Company from July 1938, studying at the Burslem School of Art under Gordon Forsyth and is one of Denby's most renowned artists. Following his father, Albert Colledge in to the Denby firm, he served in the RAF during WWII, before returning to the firm. His works are highly collectable.
