A fabulous red tea pot in the iconic 'Globe' style designed by founder of the London Pottery Company (1981), David Birch.  This design was launched to the international market in early 1988 and was picked up by many retailers including the late Sir Terrance Conran for Habitat.

Its non-drip spout design and built in ceramic tea leaf strainer made it an instant success and a design that had endured.

Dimensions: height to top of  lid finial 16.5cm, overall length 16cm, a generous size of approx. 2 pints. Maker's name printed on base. Some crazing around lower half of the pot.  See images which form part of description.
